In mid-August 2023, I impulsively decided to embark on a journey to Lebanon with a friend.
Given the absence of a direct flight from South Korea to Lebanon,
my itinerary involved connecting flights through Hanoi (Vietnam), Mumbai (India), and Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates). Although not the most straightforward journey, the necessity arose from having different airlines for each leg of the trip, leading to the need for entry and re-departure in each transit country—a complexity exacerbated by visa requirements.
Particularly in the case of India, visas are mandatory for citizens of most countries. It is crucial to check the official site below for the e-Visa application: e-Visa (indianvisaonline.gov.in)
A noteworthy detail is that the online application must be submitted at least four days in advance.
Unfortunately, I overlooked this requirement, and the subsequent post provides valuable information for those facing a similar predicament.
